Sycamore Ethiopia Tours was founded by Haile Demewoz, a renowned and highly experienced Ethiopian tour guide and operator. Born and raised in Mekelle, Tigray, i began my career guiding travelers through the ancient churches and mountains of Tigray.
My passion is storytelling, cultural preservation, and authentic travel experiences led to become a licensed national guide, and eventually, the founder of my own tour company.
With over a decade of hands-on experience in Ethiopia’s tourism industry, I have a deep understanding of the country’s history, culture, and geography.
